Scrappy Mini Stocking

Christmas is my favourite time of year. Nothing beats sewing and creating special touches for your families Christmas celebrations. This year, instead of using the traditional Christmas Crackers (bonbons), I have made Scrappy Mini Stockings for each place setting. Filled with special treats, they will make a nice change from Christmas crackers and can be used year after year.

Scrappy Mini Stockings are perfectly sized to hang on the Christmas tree. Another option is to make a batch of 24 stockings and use them as a Christmas Advent Countdown Calendar. They are just the right size to hold a special treat.

Featuring a scrappy patchwork front – Scrappy Mini Stockings are a fun project to use some of your treasured fabric scraps. The cuff is made from natural linen which is a classic touch. You can customise the cuff by stitching the recipients name or simply adding a trio of buttons – the choice is yours.
