Mini Fabric Basket

The Mini Fabric Basket is quick to sew and perfect for storing small items such as sewing/craft supplies, nursery supplies, or pantry items. They are a sweet size to use as a gift basket which is a eco-friendly alternative to wrapping paper. In fact, there are so many uses for these sweet mini fabric baskets.

Finish the mini fabric basket with a felt and fabric label on the front. This is a great way to incorporate a circular motif from the lining fabric. This is a beginner friendly project and an opportunity to practice sewing curves.

I have used my Mini Fabric Basket duo to store small balls of yarn. They look so pretty in my sewing room. You could use them to store your collection of buttons, spools of thread, or other sewing supplies. You could make them in different colours and use them to sort your fabric “scraps”.

These sweet Mini Fabric Baskets feature the newest Tilda fabric collection, Maple Farm. It includes gorgeous florals in soft shades of pink, lavender, cocoa, slate, and mustard. Check out the images below to see more of this gorgeous new range. Tilda fabric is so pretty. The Maple Farm range coordinates with the Tiny Farm range.

Maple Farm fabric collection will be released in September. Thanks to Two Green Zebras for providing the pre-release fabric used in this project. Check out other projects featuring Tilda fabric here.

You can find the Mini Fabric Basket pdf Sewing Pattern in my Etsy store.
